I read The People of Sparks by Jeanne DuPrau because it was the second book of ember, just like the first one it made me want more of Lina and Doon's adventures.
Lina and Doon have saved most of the people in Ember. They spend three days trying to find some kind of town 300 Emberites come to the gate of Sparks were 200 residents live. The town leaders of Sparks agree to "train" them so they can live and make there own town, adding 300 more people to the town was upsetting to everyone in the town, Winter was coming and barely any food was left, the Emberites and Sparks leaders butted heads arguing non stop, most of the Emberites had enough of the mean and hard work they had and started "war"...
I gave this book a reading of 6 because their was a lot of the word "said" and I wish I saw more virility of words.
This sounds like a very good book!!
