Twilight By: Stephenie Meyer

My book is called Twilight written by Stephenie Meyer. I chose this book because alot of kids were reading the series and were saying it was very good, and my stepmom also recommended the book to me. The protagonists are Bella Swan, Charlie Swan(Bella's dad), Edward Cullen, Alice Cullen, Emmett Cullen, Jasper Cullen, Esme Cullen, Carlisle Cullen, Rosalie Cullen, Jacob Black, Billy Black(Jacob's dad). The antagonists are James, Victoria, and Laurent. The main conflict is that one day Bella and Edward go up to the Cullens(Edwards) house and play some baseball. Since Edward and his family are so strong( Not going to say why, I don't want to ruin the book) they have to wait for a storm so the thunder will mask the atomic bomb going off type of sound the impact of the bat with the baseball makes. Then Laurent, Victoria, and James show up and try to kill Bella, So then Bella and the Cullens are on the run from James and then Bella gets VERY hurt. I would say that the theme of this book is put the others you love before you. the best part of the story is when Bella and Edward fall in love and act all sappy to each other. I would rate this book a 9-10 because I think that this is a must read for all sixth graders because it is a harder book to read but I think it would be a good challenge for most kids.
