The Underdogs by:Mike Lupica
I picked the book The Underdogs because I love sports books, and the book looked interesting. The protagonist was Will Tyler and the antagonist is the whole town. The main conflict is that the football season has got canceled because the field is in such bad shape, and the town doesn't have enough money for all of the equipment. The theme is to never give up even when people doubt you. The best part of the story is when Will is told by his dad to stop trying to change the towns mind, but he refused to do it. I would rate this book a 10 because it is non stop action packed, and you could learn a lesson from it.
